Critique pastel of the scream originally created by Edvard Munch
The assignment for my drawing methods class was to use the knowledge and abilities, i gained in class to recreate a work of art by a well-known artist. My other classmates are the intended audience as we evaluate one another and consider ways to improve as artists. The audience must be able to appreciate how each student uses creativity to illustrate ideas in a particular way. The brand touchpoints, in my opinion, were either attempting to duplicate the same hue using oil pastels or alternative colors that I felt were appropriate. This is special because it shows me where my understanding of competence matches up with the creation of a particular piece by a really skilled artist. Through my artwork, I am able to help other students learn from me in the same way that I learn from them, as well as how they begin and complete their techniques.
